"I was able to encounter situations through the various spontaneous encounters that take place within the MC which slowly began to sharpen skills such as public speaking, social skills, multitasking skills, communication skills, and opportunities to interact with people who differ from myself. Working at the MC has also helped me network on campus as conversations with people who are hosting/apart of things are frequent, as well as conversations with people regarding my own events. It has also helped me establish an amazing foundation within other campus departments as we frequently work with them, allowing me to build a reputation not just within the MC, but the rest of the campus as well.Overall, the MC has helped me settle into this campus, meet friends, network, and develop myself and my skills as an individual."
